Elvis Herman Hesse has stated that he will not seek re-election to lead Accra Hearts of Oak supporters as NCC Chairman.

Elvis Herman Hesse's four-year mandate as NCC Chairman ends today July 15th, 2023.

"I am 95 percent convinced that I will not seek re-election as NCC Chairman," he told Oyerepa Sports.

Elvis Herman Hesse Jr resigned as a member of the board of the club in 2021.

The supporters' chairman was voted into the position in 2019 and was a member of the board of the club.

In the midst of the turmoil in the club that saw head coach Kosta Papic, assistant Asare Bediako and goalkeepers' coach Ben Owu resign within a week. Elvis Herman Hesse was not happy about the situation.

The supporters chief led a demonstration against the Hearts of Oak board following the resignations of some technical team members.

The NCC chairman decided he can no longer serve on the board. He resigned as a board member but continued to lead the supporters.
