Berekum Chelsea goalkeeper Gregory Obeng Sekyere says he made the difference when his outfit shared the spoils with Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League clash.

The Bibires held the Phobians to a 1-1 stalemate at the Accra Sports Stadium in the week 12 of the domestic top-flight on Sunday.

Berekum Chelsea opened the scoring in the 24th minute through Emmanuel Essien and went to recess with the advantage.

But the Phobians fought back to restore parity in the second half through substitute Gideon Asante, who found the back of the net in the 70th minute mark.

Obeng Sekyere, who emerged as the Man of the Match made crucial saves to keep his side in the game.

“I’m happy with my performance. It wasn’t an easy game. Playing against Hearts of Oak is a big game so I’m happy to have won the Man of the Match” he told StarTimes.

Asked if he made the difference in the game, he said, “Yes. Anytime, our goalkeepers’ trainer, Eric always advise me to psych my mind that I can do it and that is paying off for me”

Berekum Chelsea are in 4th position on the league standings with 20 points, just a point behind leaders, Aduana. Their next game is a trip to Kumasi to face Kotoko.
