Respected football administrator, Dr. Randy Abbey has distanced himself from contesting the Ghana Football Association (GFA) presidency in the near future.
The Kpando Heart of Lions owner has worked in various capacities during the era of former GFA boss, Kwesi Nyantakyi.
He also served as the Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association for years.
Now serving as an Executive Council member of the current Football Association, Dr Randy Abbey speaking in an interview said he has no interest in leading the country’s football fraternity.
“I don’t want to be Ghana Football Association president. Not today, not tomorrow,” he told Accra-based 3FM.
Dr Randy Abbey is vying to be retained on the Executive Council seat in the upcoming Ghana Football Association (GFA) elections slated for October 5.
