Assistant coach of Hearts of Oak, David Ocloo has vowed to fix the goalscoring challenge at the club.
The Phobians are currently struggling in front of goals in the ongoing 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season.
Hearts of Oak following their 3-0 defeat against Karela United returned to winning ways against Accra Lions with a 1-0 win in midweek.
Ahead of their matchday 25 game against Dreams FC at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu, Ocloo has pledged that the club's goalscoring woes will be fixed.
According to him, they created enough chances against Accra Lions but he remains confident of fixing the challenge.
“We create a lot of chances but we rather don’t score. Apart from this match we did not create many chances, we have been creating chances in our games," he said.
“Even in Anyinase, we created some decent chances but we couldn’t score. Scoring has been a problem and we are working assiduously on it," he added.
Ocloo has supervised the last five games, including the 1-0 win over fierce rivals Asante Kotoko, and Wednesday’s hard-fought win against surprise title contenders, Accra Lions in Accra after fans chased out head coach, Slavko Matic.
Hearts of Oak currently occupy the 4th on the league log with 38 points.
