Hearts of Oak have made a U-turn on their decision to part ways with Frederick Ansah Botchway ahead of the 2022/23 season.
The MTN FA Cup winners deemed Botchway surplus to requirement last mnth however, on Friday morning, he was pictured training with the team ahead of Sunday's GHALCA Top Six tournament game against Medeama SC.
The 25-year-old signed a three-year contract with Hearts after leaving Liberty Professionals on a free transfer in 2020.
Botchway played a key role for Hearts when they clinched the Ghana Premier League title for the first since 2009.
Hearts also won the MTN FA Cup trophy in the same season with Ansah Botchway helping the club to defend their FA Cup trophy this just ended season at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi against Bechem United.
The 2022/23 betPawa Premier League season will kick start on the weekend of Friday, September 9 to Monday, September 12, 2022, across all nine league centers.
The fixtures for the upcoming season were released last week to enable clubs to prepare adequately for the season.
Hearts of Oak will travel to Dormaa to face Aduana Stars at the Agyeman Badu Park in their opening game of the new season.
