Hearts of Oak assistant coach David Ocloo has hailed the defensive partnership between Caleb Amankwah and Konadu Yiadom.
The pair have been impressive at the heart of defense for the Phobians in their last two games against Accra Lions and Dreams FC.
Speaking after their stalemate with Dreams FC, Ocloo expressed satisfaction with the performance of the duo in their last two games.
“Earlier I told you Caleb is a warrior and I think Konadu is learning a lot from him, the two of them are fantastic. They were just brilliant against Accra Lions and Dreams FC”
The Phobians were held to a goalless draw by the Still Believe side at the Theatre of Dreams Park in Dawu on Saturday.
Despite creating goal scoring opportunities, both teams were unable to find the back of the net and had to settle for a draw.
Despite dominating possession and creating several chances, Hearts of Oak could not break down the Dreams FC defence. Ocloo admitted that his team were unlucky not to get the win, especially in the closing stages of the match.
