After failing to win games in the first round of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season, both Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko are eager to bag three points this weekend.
On the opening weekend of the new league campaign, Hearts of Oak lost by a goal to nil to Real Tamale United away from home.
For Asante Kotoko, the Porcupine Warriors were held to a goalless draw by newcomers Heart of Lions.
After the setback in Round 1, both Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko have prepared since Monday and looking forward to recording wins on Round 2 which comes off this weekend.
In the first game of the Round, newly-promoted side Bofoakwa Tano defeated RTU 2-1 at home on Friday.
One game will be played on Saturday, September 22, between Bibiani Gold Stars and Asante Kotoko.
Later on Sunday, as many as six matches will be played.
Hearts of Oak will host Nsoatreman FC at home at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday before the final game of the matchday comes off on Monday.
