Highly-rated Ghanaian tactician, Yussif Basigi has bagged the last Women’s Premier League Coach of the Month award.
The Hasaacas Ladies head coach early this month was shortlisted for the top award alongside Joseph Akeem Anyagre of Army Ladies, Basirudeen Sumani of Northern Ladies, and Douglas Adomako of Dreamz Ladies.
However, in a communique from the Ghana Football Association (GFA), it has announced that Coach Basigi was better than his peers.
“Hasaaacs Ladies Coach Yussif Basigi has emerged as the NASCO coach of the month award for April after guiding his side to top spot in the Southern Zone of the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League in a keenly contested season,” parts of the communique said.
He picks the award after winning three matches and drawing one in the four matches Hasaacas Ladies played in the month of April.
For his prize, Coach Yusif Basigi will receive a 42-inch Television set from Electroland Ghana, dealers in NASCO's range of products.
