Board Member for Accra Great Olympics, Kwame Asuah Takyi was left lamenting on Sunday after the club was held to a 1-1 draw by Legon Cities FC in the Ghana Premier League.
Speaking to Citi Sports, he said officiating went against the Dade Boys, leading to their inability to secure a win.
He hinted that Great Olympics will file a protest against the match officials that handled the game to seek justice for the injustice suffered.
“The officiating has not been fair. It’s not been fair. You were all there, you saw what happened, and this cannot improve our football,” Kwame Asuah Takyi shared.
The Great Olympics board member added, “I think that we will have to file a protest against the conduct of the referee and his assistant. It’s not fair. Our game will not develop if our match officials [continue like this].”
After dropping two points, Great Olympics are now just two places away from the relegation zone of the Ghana Premier League standings.
