FC Sheriff Tiraspol goalkeeper Razak Abalora has urged Kumasi Asante Kotoko to play their hearts out for the club whenever they get the opportunity.

The former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper left the Porcupine Warriors in January 2022 to sign for Moldovan football club Sheriff Tiraspol on a three-year contract.

Speaking to local radio station Akoma FM the former Azam goalkeeper said the club should always aim to play in the CAF Champions League.

"Kotoko is a huge club and this is the stage (champions league) the club must be and not only in the local scene," he said.

"So, I'm urging all the boys to work hard and help Asanteman to get that level because we (Kotoko) have been there before but recent times things hasn't been well,"

"I only pray that this generation can do it and will fight in Africa so that the Kotoko we all use to know will be that Kotoko," he ended.
