Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Fredrick Asare says it is a great feeling to finish his first season with the Porcupine Warriors.

The 24-year-old made the switch from Accra Lions at the start of the just concluded season as a free agent.

Asare featured in 24 league matches, keeping seven clean sheets for Asante Kotoko.

Despite encountering various challenges throughout the season, Fredrick Asare maintains an optimistic outlook, vowing to come back even stronger in the 2023/24 season.

Recognizing the obstacles faced by the team, he firmly believes in their collective ability to bounce back and regain their winning form.

Taking to his Twitter account, Asare expressed his satisfaction with his debut season, stating, "A great feeling in my first season for the Greatest club in Ghana. Through all the ups and downs, we shall surely bounce back!!"

As the curtain closed on the Ghana Premier League, Kotoko concluded their season with a goalless draw against Dreams FC on the final day of the competition at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium against Dreams FC.

The Porcupine Warriors finished fourth with 52 points.
