Ghana’s all-time leading goal scorer, Asamoah Gyan has signed the Book of Condolence opened in memory of British monarch Queen Elizabeth II.

Queen Elizabeth II, the UK's longest-serving monarch, passed on at Balmoral at age 96.

As people all over the world mourn the late Queen Elizabeth II, a Book of Condolence has been opened in her name by the British High Commission in Ghana.

Today, Asamoah Gyan has passed by the British High Commission to sign the book of condolence.

The striker once played his football in England for Sunderland in the England Premier League.

Queen Elizabeth II died peacefully on Thursday, September 8, at her Scottish estate, where she had spent much of the summer.

She served as Queen of Britain for 70 years.

Earlier this morning, Ghana’s Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia also passed through the British High Commission to sign the Book of Condolence in memory of the Queen.
