The Black Stars of Ghana played out a 2-2 draw with Uganda in an international friendly on Thursday, sparking an explosion of reactions from Ghanaians on social media.

The game, which was part of the team's preparations for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers, provided fans with a glimpse of the national squad's current form.

Coach Otto Addo made five changes to the starting lineup, with Joseph Wollacott, Denis Odoi, Ebenezer Annan, Mohammed Abu, and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku replacing Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Alidu Seidu, Patrick Kpozo, Forson Amankwah, and Baba Iddrisu respectively.

Ghana opened the scoring in the 7th minute through Jerome Opoku, assisted by Jordan Ayew. Uganda's Steven Mukwala equalized from the penalty spot in the 23rd minute, but Ayew restored Ghana's lead in the 28th minute with another penalty goal.

The game ended in a draw after Uganda's Muhammed Shaban scored in the 82nd minute, and Ghana's Mohammed Salisu was sent off in the 89th minute following a second yellow card.

The result did not sit well with many Ghanaians, who had expected a win after the team's 2-1 defeat to Nigeria in the first friendly game. Some fans expressed disappointment with the team's performance, while others criticized the technical team for their player selection.
