Osman Bukari, the Ghanaian winger showcasing his skills on the pitch for Red Star Belgrade, has been granted a Serbian passport by the Serbian government footballghana.com can exclusively report.

The Black Stars winger will officially receive his Serbian passport when Red Star Belgrade returns to their home base from pre season in Russia.

Bukari will not switch nationality to play for Serbia but he will no longer be regarded as a foreigner at Red Star Belgrade.

The former Accra Lions winger joined the Serbian giants on 21 June 2022 in a deal worth €3 million.

He made his club debut against Radnički Niš and got on the scoresheet in the same match. Bukari is a fan favorite at the Rajko Mitic Stadion.

In the 2022/23 Mozzart Bet Superliga Bukari made 29 appearances, scored 12 goals, and assisted three.
