Ghanaian winger Christian Conteh climbs off bench to score two goals in Osnabruck defeat against Nurnberg

German-born Ghanaian forward Christian Conteh produced a Man of the Match performance for Vfl Osnabruck despite defeat to FC Nurnberg in the German Bundesliga 2.

The 43-year-old made substitute appearance when his outfit suffered a 2-3 home defeat to Nurnberg in the Week 3 encounter.

Conteh replaced Noel Niemann before the start of the second half and made his presence felt despite his outfit defeat at the Bremer Brücke on Sunday afternoon.

The attacker scored a braced after climbing of the bench to reduce the deficit for his side.

Before his introduction, Osnabruck were three goals down but the Ghanaian forward hit the back of the net twice few minutes to full time as the game ended 2-3 in favour of the visitors.

The visitors opened the scoring in the 35th minute mark through Can Uzun as they went to recess with a one goal advantage.

Germany international Lukas Schleimer doubled his side lead in the game after founding the back of the net in the 70th minute.

Nurnberg continued their dominance in the game and found the back of the net for the third time through Benjamin Goller in the 84th minute.

But the Ghanaian attacker climbed of the bench and bagged a brace after founding the back of the net in the 86th and 88th minutes respectively.
