Ghanaian striker Dauda Mohammed has made history by becoming the second African player to score on his CD Tenerife debut.
The 24-year-old bagged scored his first goal for Tenerife against Eibar in the Spanish Segunda Division last Saturday. Tenerife lost 2-1 at the Municipal de Ipurua Stadium.
Mohammed became the 14th African player to play for Club Deportivo Tenerife and only two of them managed to debut with a goal, the Ghanaian and Dani Kome, who is well remembered for scoring the goal in the last promotion to the First Division of the Blue and Whites, in 2009.
Tenerife will take on CD Lugo in their next Segunda Division game.
Mohammed joined the Spanish Segunda outfit CD Tenerife a season long loan, having spent last season in Spain where he played for FC Cartagena.
He has two-years left on his Anderlecht contract.
