SS Arezzo of Italy has signed Ghanaian midfielder Shaka Mawuli on loan from Serie B club FC Sudtirol until an agreement of the 2023/24 football season.
The contract between the former SPAL midfield enforcer and the Stadio Città di Arezzo side has no provision for making the loan transaction permanent at the end of its duration.
SS Arezzo official announcement reads: "Società Sportiva Arezzo is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement with the footballer Shaka Eklu Mawuli who is moving to amaranth from Südtirol on a temporary basis. Born in 1998, originally from Ghana, Mawuli boasts over 100 appearances in Lega Pro with the shirts of Catanzaro, Fano, Ravenna, Sambenedettese, Lucchese and Südtitol with which he obtained promotion to Serie B where he made his debut during the last season."
On August 27, 2017, he made his Serie C debut for Fano against Bassano.
He joined Catanzaro on loan for the 2018-19 season on July 25, 2018. Catanzaro had the option to extend the loan for another year at the end of the season under the terms of the loan arrangement.
Mawuli also previously played for ViOn Zlaté Moravce, Ravenna, Sambenedettese, Lucchese and Südtitol.
