Ghanaian international, Michael Baidoo has admitted that his team, Elfsborg will not have it easy when the team takes on Halmstads BK in the Swedish Allsvenskan later tonight.

The talented midfielder helped his team to beat Mjällby on the road over the past weekend.

Today, the team is hoping to secure another win when the side hosts the matchday opponent at the Borås Arena.

Speaking in a pre-match interview, Michael Baidoo said the game will be tough, adding that his teammates must be at their best to stand any chance of winning.

“Regardless of whether we play at home or away, all matches in the Allsvenskan are difficult, says Michael Baidoo.

“But we must show that we are the ones playing at home, and that it is Halmstad who must come to us and adapt to our game. We should only focus on what we are good at and give everything throughout the match. It is important that we are 100 percent if we are to win,” Michael Baidoo said.

The midfielder continued, “We are focused! We have a strong squad and always try to focus on what we are good at. Regardless of who is playing in the team, we have a clear game idea, so everyone knows what is expected and what to do. We are happy with how the results have been in recent games, but do not think about it in hindsight. It's one match at a time that counts.”

The match between IF Elfsborg and Halmstads BK is scheduled to kick off at 19:00gmt today.
