The CAF Confederation Cup match between Young Africans SC and Marumo Gallants will be missed by midfielder Bernard Morrison after he was once again denied entry to South Africa.

Bernard Morrison violated immigration laws in 2018, which resulted in a suspension of his entry back into South Africa.

With two months left, the former Vita Club midfielder exceeded his visa.

Yanga SC arrived in South Africa on Sunday with a 2-0 first-leg lead, thanks to a goal in injury time by Bernard Morrison.

Bernard Morrison also featured in Young Africans' goalless draw with Rivers United on 30th April in the CAF Confederations Cup.

Hersi Said, president of Young Africans SC explained Bernard Morrison's current situation to KickOff. He confirmed that the midfielder will miss the clash with Gallants.

"Morrison has been banned for five years,"

"We consulted the embassy. We tried everything without success. Yes, he will miss the match against Marumo Gallants in Rustenburg on Wednesday."
