Ghanaian international, Emmanuel Boateng scored on Saturday night to propel New England Revolution to beat Orlando City 3-1 in the US Major League Soccer.
The forward started for his team last night in a Week 18 encounter of the 2023 Major League Soccer season.
In a game where neither side could get on the scoresheet, Emmanuel Boateng opened the scoring for his team in the 51st minute.
That goal inspired New England Revolution to take advantage of the momentum to score two more.
In the 69th minute, a strike from Gustavo Bou doubled the lead for New England Revolution before Duncan McGuire equalised in the 80th minute to halve the deficit for Orlando City.
Unfortunately, for the visitors, that goal only served as a consolation. A third goal from Carles Gil sealed a 3-1 win for Emmanuel Boateng and his Duncan McGuire teammates.
