Ghanaian forward Bernard Mensah has expressed gratitude to English lower-tier side Redditch United following his departure from the club.
Mensah, who emerged as the topscorer for the Redditch United last season will continue his trade elsewhere after leaving the club.
The enterprising forward initially joined Redditch United on loan before securing a permanent move to the club last season, where he emerged as the club’s topscorer.
Mensah scored 17 goals in 48 appearances for the Reds during the 2022/23 football season.
“I can only say thank you for everything last season. From the chairman to the gaffer and his backroom staff who worked hard last season to bring me into the club and had faith in me to get back to my best and allowed me to enjoy football again.
“To the fans who continuously supported me and the boys through the ups and downs last season. Win, lose or draw you sang home and away.
“Everyone behind the scenes in the bar, media, academy and volunteers who made my time at the club memorable. Definitely too many to name but you guys all know who you are.
“To all the lads that played a part this season, it was definitely one of the best changing rooms I’ve been involved in during my career so far.
“All we achieved on the pitch and off it would not have been possible without all the lads pulling in the same direction from the start.
“My time was short but definitely sweet. I’ll be keeping an eye out for results and cheering the club on from afar., thank you for everything.”
