World football governing body, FIFA has disclosed that fans will be treated to free concerts in Qatar during the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
This means that Ghanaians in Qatar and those planning to travel to the country for this year’s mundial will enjoy the concerts.
This year’s FIFA World Cup will be played in the final two months. It is scheduled to officially kick off on November 20.
According to FIFA, the Al Bidda Park in central Doha will host concerts throughout the period of the world cup.
The concerts will feature top global and local music acts. There will also be live works by internationally acclaimed performance artists during the period of the world cup.
Ghana at the 2022 FIFA World Cup has been drawn into Group H. The Black Stars will face off with Portugal, Uruguay, and South Korea during the group stage of the Qatar tournament.
