Ghana international Joseph Paintsil has expressed his excitement after scoring in Genk’s win over Union St. Gilliose in Belgium.

The Ghanaian forward who was recently snubbed by Black Stars coach Otto Addo scored the opening goal of the match to put the visitors 1-0 up after 15 minutes.

Painstil scored from a difficult angle as his right footed strike found the right bottom corner with a beautiful strike to make it 1-0.

After the break, the home fought back to restore parity but Mbwana Samatta scored late to make it 2-1 for Genk.

“Great win on the road. Feels good to be on the scoresheet once again. We go harder, Vamos” he tweeted as sighted by Footballghana.com.

The 24-year-old has four goals, one assist in seven Belgium Jupiler League games.
