Ghana international, Bernard Tekpetey climbed off the Ludogorets bench on Friday afternoon to help the team to beat Arda 2-1 in the Bulgarian Parva Liga.

In a Round 26 encounter of the ongoing league season in Bulgaria, the talented winger missed out on a starting role.

However, at halftime when Ludogorets were trailing by a goal to nil, his manager introduced him into the game to replace Caio Vidal to bolster the attack of his team.

Thankfully, it was a good call from the manager. Bernard Tekpetey put up a good shift and helped his team to come from behind to secure a 2-1 win at the end of the 90 minutes.

The hero of the match was however Igor Thiago. The forward scored in the 77th and 89th minutes respectively to earn all three points for Ludogorets.

The consolation goal for Arda was scored by Radoslav Tsonev in injury time of the first half.

Following his appearance today, Bernard Tekpetey now has eight goals and five assists after playing in 21 matches.
