Ghana WC opponents on alert after six new players switch nationality to play for Black Stars

The opponents of Ghana at the group stage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup have braced themselves up following confirmation that as many as six players have decided to switch nationality to represent the Black Stars.

The President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt E.S Okraku a few days ago disclosed in a post on his Facebook page that top attacker Inaki Williams and several other players are now eligible to represent the national team of Ghana.

“Tariq Lamptey, Inaki Williams, Mohammed Salisu, Stephan Ambrosius, Patrick Pfeffer, and Ransford Yeboah, are available for national selection.

“Below, yours truly with the dad of Tariq (Ahmed). Bro, thanks for the trust and your determination to see Ghana succeed,” a post on the Facebook page of Kurt Okraku reads

With the news reaching the 2022 FIFA World Cup opponents of Ghana, they are now bent on preparing accordingly.

At the world cup scheduled to be staged in Qatar, Ghana will face Portugal, Uruguay, and South Korea.
