Vice President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Mark Addo has admonished the Black Stars to go for a win in the upcoming game against Madagascar.
This was part of his message to the national team when he visited the team’s training grounds on Tuesday.
In his interaction with the national team, Mark Addo assured the Black Stars that the entire nation is behind them.
“We are praying that we will get the results that we want and the whole nation is behind you. We are looking forward to this engagement and we are very hopeful and once again on behalf of the GFA president and management committee we wish you well,” the Ghana FA Vice President said.
Ghana takes on Madagascar on Sunday, June 18, in Antananarivo. The game is scheduled to kick off at 17:00gmt.
A win for the Black Stars will see Ghana securing qualification to play at the 2023 AFCON in Ivory Coast.
At the moment, Ghana tops Group E of the qualifiers with 8 points followed by Central African Republic and Angola with 7 points and 5 points respectively.
Madagascar are bottom of the log with just a point.
