Ghana international Antoine Semenyo has commenced training with Premier League side Bournemouth ahead of the 2023/24 football season.

The Black Stars forward suffered an injury setback in May at the Vitality Stadium during a Premier League game against Chelsea and was ruled out of the remainder of the season.

He made cameo appearance when his side succumbed to a 3-1 home defeat in the encounter.

After two-months spell on the sidelines, the enterprising forward returned to training ahead of the new season.

Semenyo has joined his teammates for preseason in Spain as they prepare massively for the upcoming campaign.

The lanky forward joined Bournemouth in January 2023 following an impressive performance with Bristol City in the English Championship.

Since joining the club, he has made 11 appearances with a goal to his credit.

His return come as a huge boost for Bournemouth and the Black Stars ahead of their upcoming games.

Semenyo missed the Black Stars game against Madagascar in June due to the injury. He is expected to return to the squad for the final round of the AFCON 2023 qualifiers slated for September this year.
