Ghanaian striker Sadat Karim has shared his excitement after scoring for Apollon Smyrnis in their 3-1 home win over Episkopi Rethymno in in the Greek Super League 2.

The 31-year-old capped an impressive performance with a goal on Sunday afternoon.

After the game, the enterprising forward took to social media to express his joy after scoring to help his side secure a win.

“Alhamdulillah. Happy to get a Goal and more importantly a win today” he tweeted.

Apollon Smyrnis opened the scoring through Maximiliano Cuadra after 23 minutes but GFreece international Antonis Stathopoulos equalized in the 32nd minute as both teams went to recess with a goal apiece.

After the break, the Ghanaian international found the back of the net to restore Apollon Smyrnis lead in the 58th minute.

Two minutes to full time, Greek defender Vangelis Theocharis scored to seal victory for the host.

Sadat Karim has two goals from 11 games in the Greek Super League 2 this season.
