Ghanaian football administrator, Albert Ayittey Commey has shared his view on the plan by George Afriyie to contest the presidential election of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) this year.

Speaking to Oyerepa FM in an interview, Albert Commey dared George Afriyie to show what he managed to achieve when he served as Vice President of the football association.

According to him, Mr. Afriyie is no threat to sitting GFA President Kurt Okraku ahead of the presidential election later this year.

“I saw that tape and I laughed because I have worked with him and he should tell us what he was able to do with his four years as GFA vice. I want him to get the opportunity one day and see what he can do. He is no threat to Kurt Okraku,” Albert Ayittey Commey.

Besides George Afriyie, Kojo Yankah has also announced that he will be contesting Kurt Okraku for the Ghana FA Presidency.

While the GFA boss is confident of re-election, his competitors are of the view that he has underperformed and should not be given a second term.
