The Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Council has appointed Frederick Acheampong as the new chairman of the Black Starlets Management Committee.
The former Ashanti Gold SC Chief Executive Officer will work closely with four other members of the committee including Linford Asamoah Boadu who has been named Vice Chairman.
“Executive Council Member Frederick Acheampong has been approved as Chairman of the Black Starlets Management Committee. The former AshantiGold SC Chief Executive Officer has loads of experience in both club and national team football and has been working for CAF/FIFA as General Coordinator since 2019.
“Chairman of the Eastern Regional Football Association Linford Asamoah Boadu will serve as Vice Chairman of the Committee,” parts of a statement from the Ghana FA said on Tuesday.
The Black Starlets Management Committee has been mandated by the GFA to ensure Ghana’s qualification to the next U-17 Africa Cup of Nations and the U-17 FIFA World Cup.
