The Ghana Premier League game between Great Olympics and Nsoatreman FC has been paused.
This follows a power issue that has thrown the Accra Sports Stadium into total darkness.
Great Olympics hosted Nsoatreman FC today in a Week 9 encounter of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.
In the contest that kicked off at 4 p.m., Nsoatreman FC took the lead after 14 minutes when Abdul Rahman scored for the visitors.
After recess, Great Olympics improved their performance and managed to score in the 56th minute through Emmanuel Antwi.
As the sun went down and the Stadium started getting dark, there was the need for the floodlights to come on for the game to continue.
Unfortunately, power issues meant that the match officials put the match on hold.
