Fuseini Abubakari, the License B coach of Bofoakwa Tano, has made an appeal to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to expedite the process of acquiring his CAF License A coaching certification.
Abubakari expressed his desire to obtain the License A qualification in order to assume the managerial role at the club for the upcoming 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.
Bofoakwa Tano, a Sunyani-based club, made a triumphant return to the Ghana Premier League after 16 years by securing a thrilling 7-6 penalty shoot-out victory over Eleven Wonders in the Division One League play-offs held on Tuesday, May 30 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Coach Fuseini Abubakari, who has played a pivotal role in the team's return to the Ghana top flight after their relegation in the 2006/07 season, is eager to get the necessary documents for the upcoming season.
"We are pleading with them to speed up things so we can get the opportunity to do License A so that I can get that opportunity to sit in the dugout for the Premier League matches."
