In an insightful interview, former Vice President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Fred Pappoe, opens up about the meticulous preparations and strategic planning behind Ghana's journey in football qualifiers.

Drawing from his wealth of experience and deep involvement in the GFA, Pappoe sheds light on the inner workings of the organization and shares valuable insights into how the team readies itself for the most crucial matches

"With the qualifiers when the draw comes usually the first step is to prepare a program and a budget for the team," he told Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com

"The program will be to look at the matches and look at the FIFA calendar then see if it will possible to get some training matches before then,"

"But that will determine the timetable or the overall FIFA program for all countries because players mostly play outside. So that is not possible now if you look at the program the FIFA friendly days is when they play games you will not have enough time because the boys are released 5 or so days to the time,"

"You can only do your own internal camping hadn't done that you will look at the program and work within that,"
