Former Western Regional Football Association chairman, Kojo Yankah, has revealed that he has already devised a comprehensive campaign strategy in his bid to win the Ghana Football Association (GFA) presidential election scheduled for October 2023.

Yankah, a former journalist and executive council member of the GFA, announced his intention to challenge the incumbent president, Kurt E. S Okraku, for the top position in the forthcoming election.

Although Yankah refrained from divulging specific details about his plans for Ghana football if elected, he asserted that he had meticulously planned his strategies for the campaign.

During an interview with Joy Sports on Wednesday, when questioned about his plans, Yankah responded, "Even if I have formulated my plans, I would not confirm them at this time because I have my strategy. I am well aware of how I will conduct my campaign. As of now, even if I possess a plan, I will not disclose it. I have already mapped out my strategy."

Yankah's declaration sets the stage for a potentially intense battle for the GFA presidency, with two prominent figures, as at now, vying for the GFA role.

As the former chairman of the Western Regional Football Association, Yankah brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the table, while Okraku, the incumbent president, seeks to retain his position and continue the initiatives he has implemented during his tenure.

The GFA presidential election is scheduled for October 2023, without an official roadmap now.
