Ghanaian international Nezer Ansah Tawiah, is relishing a breakthrough into the limelight with the vision to become one of the country’s valuable assets in the near future.
Born on 3rd December 2000 in Tema , Nezer started his professional football career with Kasoa-based Evergreen FC, and then moved to the then 1st division side Amidaus Professionals, on loan, before making a return to his mother club, Evergreen FC.
Just like every young footballer in Ghana, the bigger dream is to have a stint outside the shores of the country which in essence aids the development of an adventurous career.
It doesn’t matter how and where it starts, and for Nezer Ansah it’s all about taking it a step at a time.
The combative center-back now finds himself in Bahrain’s second-division side Al-Tadhamun.
When asked about why he chose to start off in Bahrain, here is what Nezer said.
“Football is now played everywhere in the world and it is all about having the right mentality and putting in the work to be the best wherever you find yourself,” he said.
Talking up mentality and having the right attitude, the young centre-back who is inspired by some of his country’s legends like Samuel Osei Kuffour, John Mensah , Sam Johnson , Joseph Addo et al, is already looking to take on same path by working his way up the radar.
The hard work , skill, and versatility of Nezer has caught the attention of several clubs in the gulf region who are already having deep thoughts about him.
It’s the dream of every footballer to catch the attention of the best and it can only be a huge inspiration to the 22-year-old who is not shy of taking on new challenges and adventures soon.
These days, the Gulf nations engage in fierce competition to become the region’s go-to base when it comes to entertainment and sports.
Countries like the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Bahrain have set the tone in that regard.
Al-Tadhamun placed 12th in the just-ended second-division season in Bahrain.
