German-born Ghanaian forward Sirlord Conteh could soon play in the German Bundesliga.
According to Sky, the attacking player of SC Paderborn 07 will have an exit clause this summer and will be looking to play in the top flight. The cost would be in the low seven figures. Conteh is thought to be monitored by FC Augsburg's scouts.
Conteh has five goals and five assists, but it is his lightning speed that makes the winger appealing to other clubs.
In the 2014/15 season, the Hamburg-born attacker made his debut for TSV Sasel in the sixth-tier state league. Conteh then spent four years in the regional division with FC St. Pauli's reserve club before joining Paderborn via Magdeburg.
The fast career progress might continue for the 26-year-old after 62 third and 31 second-division games.
Conteh made his professional debut for FC Magdeburg in the Liga 3 on 3 August 2019, starting against SV Meppen before being substituted out in the 42nd minute for Manfred Osei Kwadwo, with the away match finishing as a 3–1 win.
In May 2022, 2. Bundesliga club SC Paderborn 07 announced the signing of Conteh.
