Ghana head coach, Chris Hughton has heaped praise on striker Inaki Williams following his outstanding performance in the game against Madagascar.
The Athletic Bilbao attacker started for Ghana on Friday evening and scored the only goal of the game to seal a 1-0 victory for Madagascar in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Speaking on the performance of the striker, Coach Chris Hughton described Inaki as a very good professional who is ready to play any position to help the Black Stars.
“Inaki is a very good professional. If I tell him to play in central midfield or right back, he will play there. But he is a number 9. That is his main strength,” Coach Chris Hughton said.
After his first goal today, Inaki Williams has been relieved of a lot of pressure.
He will be hoping to score more goals for the Black Stars in upcoming games.
