Dutch football legend, Marciano Vink has lauded Brian Brobbey despite his losing his playing position to Mohammed Kudus.

The former RB Leipzig in the last two games played has been coming from the bench.

In the game against Rangers in the Champions League last week, Kudus was selected ahead of Brobbey with the Ghanaian making an instant impact to end the game 4-0.

Against SCHeerenveen in the Dutch Eredivisie over the weekend, the former FC Nordsjaelland was again selected ahead of Brobbey.

Kudus again netted a brace as Ajax recorded a 5-0 win to cement their lead on the league log.

"I liked that Brobbey was happy with Kudus' goal," said Vink on ESPN.

"It is his competitor after all," continues the analyst. According to presenter Jan Joost van Gangelen, Brobbey was also 'difficult to make a disposable gesture.

"But yes, you don't have to clap, do you", says Vink. "It's not an obligation. You can also stand still, but he applauds," he added.

Kudus is expected to keep his place when Ajax travel to Liverpool in the matchday 2 games of the Champions League.
