Black Stars head coach, Chris Hughton says he is not perturbed about the criticism from some Ghana Football Association (GFA) officials.
The former Premier League manager who signed a 21-month deal in March earlier this year came under criticism after playing his first three games.
Randy Abbey and George Amoako who are members of the Executive Council criticized the 64-year-old after recording a win and two draws.
The team manager of the Black Stars Ameenu Shardow joined the public queries when he quizzed the performances of the team.
The vice president of the Football Association, Mark Addo, also added his voice.
However, Hughton says such criticisms have become ‘normal’ for him and pays less attention to them.
“This is normal. This is something that I’ve found since I’ve been here…whenever I’m going to games, people and supporters will come up to me and tell me what they think,” he told Asaase Radio.
“So, one thing I’m always conscious of is football is highs and lows and when you are on the back of what I regard as a poor result, and our last result against Madagascar was not the result that we wanted is that there’s always going to be a reaction.
“This is for me, this is normal, can’t expect for everything to be good and to be praised all the time. I’m never affected," he added.
The Black Stars who open camp on Monday ahead of their all-important 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against the Central African Republic (CAR) will leave for Kumasi today.
Kick-off has been scheduled at 16:00GMT.
Ghana need a draw or win to qualify for the tournament that will be staged in Ivory Coast next year.
