President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okrtaku, has emphasized that the corporate world has shown greater appreciation for the association's transparent governance under his tenure.
Okraku, who assumed office in 2019, expressed his confidence in the improved management of football and highlighted the significant increase in revenue generated during his time as president.
During the interview, Okraku, who is also the founder of Dreams FC, asserted that the football association has witnessed a notable rise in the inflow of funds compared to previous years.
"I can tell you on authority that revenues into the football association have increased more than before," he stated.
He attributed this growth to the increased confidence and trust exhibited by the corporate sector in the association's management and operational practices.
Okraku believes that the surge in revenue serves as a testament to the growing recognition of the GFA's commitment to transparency and openness.
"It tells you that there is an increased level of confidence in the governance of football in this country," he declared.
