King Faisal bankroller Alhaji Grusah has stated that the CAS verdict upholding the appeal by Ashantigold and Inter Allies players against Ghana Football Association is a positive sign for him.
King Faisal is currently battling with the Ghana FA over player double identity. The Kumasi-based club sent their complaint to CAS after GFA dismissed their case.
In yesterday's landmark ruling the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) ruled in favor of the players involved in the alleged match-fixing incident between AshantiGold and Inter Allies two seasons ago.
Some players were given 30-month bans for their role in fixing the game while others received a 48-month ban.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) verdict stated that the Ghana Football Association should pay 21 players $345.77 each as compensation.
"The failure has started the power of God because if you see what happened yesterday between Ashgold players case they have seen the defeat that is how they will be defeated," he told Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com
"So we are ready everything that happens we will pay when we are victorious they will give our money back to us. We are in confidence insha Allah if you don't pay they wont go forward with the case I don't have enough knowledge about it but I trust my lawyer,"
"(The verdict) It has motivated me very well what they said there was no truth in that,"
