Cameroonian Football Federation (FÉCAFOOT) will part ways with head coach Rigobert Song at expiration of his contract.
Song, who has been in charge of the Cameroon national team since February 28, 2022 is expected to lose his job when his contract expires on February 24, 2024.
The Cameroon FA led by Samuel Eto’o has decided not to extend the contract of Song following a dismal performance at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast. They seek for a new direction for the national team.
