The head coach of the Botswana male senior national team, Coach Didier Gomes Da Rosa has named a 24-man squad for the international friendly match against Ghana.
As reported earlier, Ghana’s Black Stars will take on Botswana in a warm-up game before the start of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
The international friendly will help the Black Stars in preparing for a good campaign at the AFCON in Ivory Coast.
For Botswana, this is a chance to also prepare for the next round of games in the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Ahead of the friendly, Botswana coach Didier Gomes Da Rosa is not messing around.
He has set his sights on beating Ghana and has invited 24 of his best players for the game.
The international friendly game between Ghana and Botswana is scheduled to be played on January 8.
It will be the final friendly for the Black Stars before the start of the 2023 AFCON on January 13.
