Fuseini Abubakari, the head coach of newly promoted Ghana Premier League side Bofoakwa Tano, has asserted that his team was the better side in their recent playoff victory over Eleven Wonders.

Bofoakwa Tano secured their place in the top-flight league with a 7-6 penalty shootout win after a 1-1 draw in regular time.

Following their triumphant playoff performance, Coach Fuseini expressed his satisfaction with his team's display and credited their superior performance for the victory.

In an interview on Happy FM, he extended his gratitude to the supporters and players for their unwavering commitment and hard work.

"The journey hasn't been easy," Coach Fuseini remarked. "From the blast of the whistle, we were the better side of the two teams. We controlled the game and our tactics went according to plan.

"We managed to get the early goal of the game and also had two goals disallowed by the referee. We were not pleased with some of the decisions against us by the officials."

Bofoakwa Tano took an early lead in the 7th minute through a penalty, following a foul on Enoch Abuu by Eleven Wonders' goalkeeper.

However, their advantage was wiped out shortly in the second half as Eleven Wonders equalized with a well-executed header from Zakaria Osman.

Tano then went on to win the shootout to book their slot.
