Speaking after the Black Queens secured a 4-0 aggregate win against the Senegal women's team in a recent two-legged international friendlies, defender Janet Egyir said she is not surprised with the team's performance.

Egyir, who plays for Israeli Ligat Nashim club Hapoel Katamon Jerusalem FC, told Radio Gold, "To be honest, I wasn't surprised at the scoreline because we all know when it comes to African football, Ghana is ahead of Senegal, so I was not surprised at the scoreline."

The Black Queens won the first leg 3-0 and secured a 1-0 victory in the second game, both of which were played at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Gifty Assifuah scored twice, while Grace Asantewaa scored once in the first test. Evelyn Badu's 84th-minute goal in the second game sealed the win for the Black Queens.

Egyir also praised the team's performance, stating that the team played well and executed their game plan effectively. The wins against Senegal are positives for the Black Queens under new boss Nora Hauptle as they prepare for upcoming matches.
