Ghana international Thomas Partey has emerged as a transfer target for Spanish giants, Barcelona ahead of the January transfer window, Footballghana.com can report.
The Spanish giants wants a replacement for Gavi, who recently sustained an injury and Partey is one of the players being considered per Mundo Deportivo.
Other players on Barcelona's list include Renato Sanches, Kalvin Phillips, Andrey Santos, Pierre-Emile Højbjerg, Yann M'Vila, and Grzegorz Krychowiak.
It is uncertain whether Barcelona will go in for the Ghana international or any of the shortlisted players.
Partey has been inactive for Arsenal so far this season due to recurring injuries. He has made only four appearances for the Gunners.
The Black Stars midfielder is said to have informed the London-based club about his intention to depart the club in the upcoming transfer window.
