Ghana legend, Asamoah Gyan has reacted to reports about the court’s decision on his divorce case.
On Tuesday, October 31, an Accra court ruled that Asamoah Gyan is the father of his wife’s three children.
As part of the settlement, Ghana’s all-time leading goal scorer for the Black Stars must pay GH¢25,000 monthly for the upkeep of his children.
This excludes specific expenses such as school fees, medical and dental care, flight tickets, and others.
The divorced wife is also receiving Asamoah Gyan's UK mansion, a four-bedroom house at Spintex in Accra, a BMW, an Infiniti, and ownership of land meant for a fuel station in Prampram.
Since the ruling, the story of the settlement has been carried by many media outlets in the country.
After citing a post on the settlement on social media by Ameyaw Debrah, Asamoah Gyan decided to react but only in a cryptic format.
He commented on X saying, “If I have 10pts and I keep quiet cos I’m matured, and you have 2 pts and you going find public sympathy, then it’s cool. You are very funny. This is deep so think about it.”
