English Premier League giants Arsenal have provided an injury update on Ghana star Thomas Partey who missed the sides game against Fulham on Saturday.

Partey was ruled out of the London derby at the Emirates Stadium due to an injury setback.

The deputy Black Stars captain has started in all three games for Arsenal this season and spearhead them to victories against Crystal Palace, Leicester and Bournemouth.

In his absence, Arsenal managed to beat Fulham 2-1 on home turf.

After the clash, a session of Arsenal fans approached team doctor Gary O’Driscoll to inquire about the extent of injury of duo Partey and Zinchenko.

Giving an update, Gary O’Driscoll disclosed Partey and Zinchenko were excluded from the Fulham game as a precautionary measure.

The team doctor was encouraged by the fact the Gunners had a squad depth to deal with Fulham in the absence of two players.

“Well the great thing is we have players that can fill in, that’s the difference isn’t it?” he said.

Arsenal will face Aston Villa in midweek and it is believed the club will not rush the duo back into action.
