Since January, Belgian-born Ghanaian midfielder Pierre Dwomoh has been on loan to Belgian side KV Oostende from Antwerp.
He was given a chance to develop and improve by being assigned to the first team. After barely eight games, KV Oostende announced that his season was over due to an injury.
As a result, the club has no intention of using the purchase option. Dwomoh, who aspires to play in the first division, is in an uncomfortable position.
However, it is also probable that the versatile midfielder will return to his parent club and try to get into the first team. His loan to Portuguese club Braga did not go well. He recalled in December 2022 having failed to make an appearance.
Born in Belgium, Dwomoh is of Ghanaian descent. Pierre Dwomoh has played internationally for Belgium at under-15 and under-17 levels.
Dwomoh made his professional debut with Genk in a 2-0 Belgian First Division A win over Kortrijk. On 27 August 2021, he signed a five-year contract with Antwerp.
