Ampem Darkoa Ladies midfielder, Comfort Yeboah has shared her excitement after helping the team to beat AS FAR 2-1 in the first game of the 2023 CAF Women’s Champions League.
The talented youngster scored for her team today as the Ghana Women’s Premier League Champions came from behind to beat the defending Champions of the CAF Women’s Champions League.
Speaking after the game, Comfort Yeboah described the game against AS FAR as a very tough contest.
She said thanks to the hard work of the team and the inspiration from the coach, the team managed to secure the historic victory.
“I’m very happy that we have been able to win the game today. The match was not easy. It was very tough but we fought to win and at the end of the day we were successful.
“The coach spoke to us after the first half and it helped us to prove them wrong in the second half,” Comfort Yeboah said.
After her outstanding performance today, Comfort Yeboah was named Player of the Match.
